Why we called Shizen Remedies?
Shizen (in Japanese) means “Nature” and “Natural” and we really love nature so we choose ‘Shizen Remedies’ as it reflects our belief that nature can heal us, help us clean ourselves, maintain our wellbeing and keep us beautiful.
We are passionate about the three “R”s – Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling
The three “R”s help to cut down on the amount of waste we throw away. They represent conservation of natural resources, reducing landfill space and wasteful use of energy. Each of us can make a difference by reducing, reusing, and recycling materials at home and throughout our communities.
Waste prevention reduces the generation of waste so it is the most preferred method of waste management and goes a long way toward protecting our environment.
Little things can help , for example: Purchasing durable, long-lasting goods, Seeking products and packaging that are toxic free, redesign products to: include recyclable raw material in production, have a longer life and be used again after its original use.
Use durable coffee mugs, refill bottles, reuse boxes, purchase refillable pens and pencils, bamboo toothbrush, wooden spoon and folks, use cloth napkins, towels and nappies, reuse the empty jars into containers for your own creation remedies or jams.
Recycling prevents the emission of many greenhouse gases and water pollutant, and saves energy. Using recovered material generates less solid waste. Also, when products are made using recovered rather that virgin materials, less energy is used during manufacturing, and fewer pollutants are emitted.
Benefits of Recycling
Conserves resources for our children’s future. Prevents emissions of many greenhouse gases and water pollutants, save energy, supplies valuable raw materials to industry, stimulates the development of greener technologies, reduces the need for new landfills and incinerators.
Buying Recycled Products
There is more to recycling than setting out your recyclables at the curb. In order to make recycling economically feasible, we must buy recycled products and packaging. When we buy recycled products, we create and economic incentive for recyclable materials to be collected, manufactured, and marketed as new products.
Thank you from Shizen Remedies
We strongly believe that we can make a difference as a business. Where possible, we sell our products in glass bottles and jars. We will discount 10% from your next purchases bill to say Thank you for taking a part of the three “R”s to protect our environment. We plan to contribute your 10% discount to charities that work towards protecting our environment.
We believe that we can make a difference by educating, teaching and guiding the younger generation to reduce, reuse, recycle and to believe that we are making a positive impact.
